If the C4 Explosive was dropped outside of the building or into the elevator shafts, map triggers will return the dropped C4 back to the playable area. Notably, the ramp has two ladders and there is a penetrable wooden wall that blocks visual contact between the ramp and the entrances to bombsite A. Finally, the middle hallways and the pathways that connected between the bombsites and the stairwell and ramp were changed to a great extent. The height of the walls were reduced, allowing some players to jump on top of some props to eliminate stationary or incoming players. The roofs of the bombsites were mostly removed and new props were added throughout the map. The background featured more realistic buildings.
The map was greatly revamped from the textures to the overall structure of the map, thus greatly enhancing realism. The props mainly consisted of construction materials, such as concrete. Vertigo reused the textures from Half-Life and the background consisted of other skyscrapers. Terrorists: Plant the C4 Explosive and blow up the building. They can hold the bombsite from the pillar, corner and the electrical unit. Counter-Terrorists can retake the bombsite through CT spawn and the middle connector, though both funnel to the same chokepoint. The vertical fight to take control of B Stairs can prove quite challenging, so the other option to this bombsite is through the middle connector. Counter-Terrorists can hold the bombsite in a few places, such as the concrete bags on the top of the ramp, from A short amongst the various boxes on the bombsite.īombsite B has one main route from Terrorist spawn known as "Stairs". This doubles up as a way to retake the A bombsite, alongside the back room. The other route to A is through middle, which links to the bombsite through "Lobby/Elevator". This splits off into another route, commonly known as "Construction" and then "Short". The main objective for the Terrorists is to bomb the building while the CTs must prevent them from achieving their goal.īoth bombsites and the Counter-Terrorist spawn are located on the upper floor of the map, whilst the Terrorist spawn is located on the lower floor in the stairwell.īombsite A has one main route from Terrorist spawn known as "Ramp".
